Request a room away from the street for a quieter experience. thin walls may let in some noise otherwise.

The outdoor dining area was wonderfully cozy.
On arrival, the check-in process was frustratingly slow, with us having to wait for what felt like an eternity for our room key. The walls were thin, allowing us to hear other guests quite clearly, which disrupted our sleep quality. Additionally, the lack of air conditioning made our stay uncomfortable, as we were reliant on just a fan and open windows for ventilation.

What stands out – both good and bad
The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I enjoyed streaming Netflix during my stay. The breakfast options were protein-rich, which suited my family perfectly.
The room had a leak by the toilet, and the electrical strip under the TV was unusable. Internet issues persisted for over 20 hours.

A surprising room upgrade
The location was central and easy to find, making it convenient to explore Haines. The staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful, turning a potential hiccup into a charming upgrade.
On arrival, the room key was missing, causing a late-night issue. While it worked out with a better room, the wait was stressful and could improve.

Great views but needs some work
The room had an amazing view of the mountains! I loved sitting in the outdoor area to relax. But I had a bit of trouble with the TV remote, and it took forever for the staff to fix it. Just was a little annoying during my stay. Don't forget to check the internet if you need it!

the check-in was an utter disaster, I had to wait ages for a password for the internet, and the TV didn’t even work, imagine that! I just knew I should’ve been offered an upgrade for such an inconvenience, but alas, I wasn’t. I almost considered a good review, but just couldn’t!

The motel was a cozy spot, perfect for our family with the kids! We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which had plenty of protein options. The proximity to town made it easy to explore, and the welcoming locals added to our experience as we enjoyed the beautiful scenery.
For dads, it would be great to have more activities for kids.

The Double Room was decent—clean and comfy. I liked that we could stream Netflix, which was a nice touch after a long day. The bed was cozy, and the breakfast had plenty of good protein options. Downsides? The pet fee was pretty steep and there wasn’t a nice view from my room, which felt like a lot for the price.
